When it's holiday time, Cool Companions offers vacation care programmes that change for each set of holidays throughout the year. The programmes are all based on having some fun, whilst learning about our animals and the environment in which they live. The shows run for 90 minutes. This includes a hands-on component where the kids can interact with various animals.
There is often a practical component as well. For example when the kids attend Camaflouge by design, they learn how to make their own camouflage. At the finish of the show we allow the kids to have their photos taken with one of the special Cool Companions animal friends. We not only leave the kids with some great memories, but also with a special bag containing some cool gifts to keep.
